AV exclusions for Dentrix G5 and G6

When configuring anti-virus software, consider the needs of your office and the inherent risks in excluding certain items from the protection afforded by anti-virus software. Before deciding on a definite course of action, you may want to contact Henry Schein TechCentral (877-483-0382) or consult your hardware technician or an anti-virus specialist (such as your vendor). 3. On the server, exclude scanning the [drive]:\%Program files%\Dentrix folder (Example: C:\Program Files (x86)\Dentrix)
  4. On the server, exclude scanning [drive]:\%Program files%\HenrySchein (Example: C:\Program Files (x86)\HenrySchein)
  5. On the server, exclude scanning [drive]:\Windows\Dentrix.ini
  6. On the workstations, exclude scanning [drive]:\%Program files%\Dentrix (Example: C:\Program Files (x86)\Dentrix)
  7. On the workstations, exclude scanning [drive]:\%Program files%\HenrySchein (Example: C:\Program Files (x86)\HenrySchein)
